About TRMS（トリムス）
TRMS (TCI Reagent Management System) is a cloud-based reagent management system developed by Tokyo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.
It enables seamless alignment between information and physical items in the laboratory, supporting enhanced productivity in research through real-time inventory visibility and streamlined management.
By creating an environment where researchers can focus on their core research activities, TRMS aims to contribute to further advancements in R&D.
Our system is provided free of charge to all universities and their affiliated laboratories across Japan.
TRMS Functions
Reagent Inventory
You can view a comprehensive list that includes ID, product name, remaining quantity, and storage location.
Additional details such as element, structural formula, carbon number, specific gravity, and date of entry are automatically recorded.
Each user can freely customize display preferences—such as show/hide options and sorting—within their own account.
Structure Search
You can perform a structure search across the reagents available in your laboratory’s inventory.
It is also possible to narrow down results using multiple conditions.
Library Function
Complex structural formulas can be easily retrieved from the library.
They can also be accessed via text input.
Structure Formulas
Structural formulas are automatically assigned using the CAS number as a key.
When hovering over an item in the reagent list, the structure will automatically enlarge.
Real-Time Management of toxic and deleterious substances
By using an electronic scale customized for TRMS, it is possible to record the withdrawal of toxic and deleterious substance in real time.
Since the scales is Wi-Fi enabled, it can be installed even in locations with limited space.
